Program and commitment
Do I have to commit to all four months?

No, but there is a cancellation fee for early cancellation. If an injury or long-term illness requires an extended absence, the program can be put on hold.

What happens if I reach my goals before four months, or want to keep going after?

Reaching your goals early is a good problem: continued monitoring, and even working beyond the original goals, builds more resilient and robust results. And yes, additional months can be added, for a charge, as needed.

Will I eventually be able to manage my shoulder on my own?

Yes. The primary goal is to rehab the shoulder and make you independent in maintaining it.

Cost
Is the initial assessment required, and why is it a separate fee?

Yes, it's required. The assessment qualifies (or disqualifies) you for the program and determines what programming your shoulder needs, since no two cases are exactly the same. Keeping it separate means you find out whether this is right for you with a small investment, instead of committing to the whole program first.

What does the program cost?

$110 for the initial in-person assessment, then $300 per month for 4 months. If you want an in-person session every week instead of every month, the high-touch add-on is $800 per month.

How the program works
How does the program get adjusted as I improve?

Weekly updates in remote meetings, plus video feedback. Send videos of your exercises and they're reviewed in the weekly meeting; programming is adjusted weekly and monthly against how your shoulder is responding.

How often do I need to train?

Most clients will complete their shoulder program three times a week. Your exact frequency will be individualized based on your goals, training schedule, shoulder capacity, and the demands of your rehabilitation.

Do I need access to a gym?

Not necessarily. A well-equipped home gym works.

What if I miss a workout or can't follow the program for a while?

Missing a session isn't a problem; the plan adjusts around it. If an injury or long-term illness requires an extended period of absence, a hold can be put on the program.

Who it's for
Who is the Shoulder Rebuild designed for?

People who have had a shoulder injury (or injuries) and cannot fully rehab it to their needs or goals, often going through cycles of physio, re-injury, physio.

What types of shoulder problems do you work with?

Rotator cuff injuries, shoulder impingement, and shoulder dislocation or subluxation.

What types of shoulder problems are not appropriate for the program?

Acute trauma, injury or surgery within the first three months.

Do I need a diagnosis before applying?

Preferably yes, but not always. It depends on the case, and the assessment is where that gets sorted out.

What if I'm currently seeing a physiotherapist or other healthcare professional?

That's fine. Kevin can work in coordination with your physiotherapist or other healthcare professional.

Location
Do I have to live in the Edmonton area, and where do the sessions happen?

Yes. The program is not available entirely online. Kevin works with people in Edmonton, St. Albert and Sherwood Park. In-person sessions happen at Kevin's training studio in St. Albert, at the gym of your preference, or in your home gym.
