Terms of service
Last updated: October 5, 2026
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to the website rebuilt2move.com (the "Site") and to the services offered by Rebuilt To Move, operated by Kevin Hirose, BSc Kinesiology ("Rebuilt To Move", "we", "us"). By using the Site, submitting an application, booking an assessment or enrolling in the Shoulder Rebuild Program, you agree to these Terms. When you pay for the assessment or the program through the Site's checkout, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms, and they form part of your agreement with us. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal information.
2. What we do, and what we do not do
Rebuilt To Move provides kinesiology-based exercise coaching: an in-person assessment and a personalized, phase-progressed shoulder rehabilitation and strength program, delivered with weekly coaching. Kevin Hirose is a kinesiologist and strength coach. He is not a physician, physiotherapist, chiropractor or other regulated health professional, and nothing on the Site or in the program is medical advice, a diagnosis or medical treatment. The program does not replace care from your doctor, physiotherapist or other health professional. If you are under their care, or you have any condition that could affect your ability to exercise, get their clearance before you start and tell us about it. With your permission, we are glad to coordinate with them.
3. Who the program is for
The program is designed for adults whose shoulder has stopped improving after an injury and who have been cleared to exercise. It is not for acute injuries, for anyone within three months of a shoulder injury or surgery, or for anyone who has been told not to exercise. It is not a fully online service: in-person sessions take place at Kevin's training studio in St. Albert, at your gym or at your home gym in the Edmonton, St. Albert or Sherwood Park area. You must be 18 or older to apply on your own; if you are under 18, a parent or guardian must apply for you, attend the assessment and consent to the program.
4. Applying and the initial assessment
Submitting an application does not guarantee a place in the program. Kevin reviews every application personally and will reply within one business day to let you know whether it looks like a fit. If it does, the next step is the initial in-person assessment (75 to 90 minutes), which is required before you can join the program and is priced separately at $110 plus applicable taxes. The assessment fee is payable when you book. You can reschedule your assessment with at least 24 hours' notice; an assessment cancelled with less notice, or missed, may be charged in full. Once the assessment has taken place its fee is not refundable, even if we decide together that the program is not the right fit for you.
5. The program, pricing and billing
The Shoulder Rebuild Program is a four-month program billed monthly at $300 per month plus applicable taxes. It includes fully customized, phase-progressed programming adjusted weekly and integrated with the rest of your training, one in-person session each month, a scheduled weekly follow-up call, video demonstrations of every exercise, progress tracking and ongoing support between sessions as described in section 6. Most clients complete their shoulder program three times a week; your exact frequency is set with you at the assessment. The high-touch add-on, which replaces the monthly in-person session with one in-person session every week, is $800 per month plus applicable taxes.
All prices are in Canadian dollars. Prices may change, but a change never applies to a program you have already started. Payments are made through the Site's checkout by credit or debit card or any other payment method offered there, or by another method we agree with you (for example, e-transfer), and each month's fee is due at the start of that month. If a payment fails we will let you know, and coaching may be paused until it is resolved. If you want to keep going after four months, additional months can be added at the monthly rate in effect at that time.
6. Ongoing support between sessions
Between sessions you can send brief questions, or a short clip of an exercise that felt off, by text message, WhatsApp or email. Kevin replies during his working hours, not in real time. Ongoing support is meant for quick questions and for flare-ups that may change your plan, at a pace of about one or two check-ins a week. It is not a 24/7 service, it does not replace the scheduled weekly call or in-person sessions, and it is not for emergencies: if you are injured or need urgent medical help, contact a health professional or emergency services. The scope of ongoing support is reviewed month to month, and we will let you know if it needs to be adjusted for your program.
7. Your responsibilities
- Give accurate and complete information in your application and assessment, and tell us right away about any change in your health, new pain or injury, medication or diagnosis that could affect your training.
- Follow the program as coached. Do not add loads, exercises or volume beyond what has been prescribed without checking with Kevin first.
- Stop any exercise that causes sharp pain, numbness, dizziness or unusual symptoms, and let us know.
- Train in a safe environment with equipment in good condition, and follow the rules of any facility you use.
- Show up on time and prepared for scheduled sessions and calls, or reschedule with reasonable notice.
8. Assumption of risk and release of liability
Exercise, including rehabilitation exercise, carries a risk of injury, including aggravation of an existing injury, muscle or joint injury and, rarely, serious injury. By joining the program you confirm that you understand these risks, that you have been cleared to exercise, and that you take part voluntarily. Your program is delivered as written instructions, videos and coaching that you carry out on your own between sessions, and we cannot supervise how you perform it. To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of Alberta, you release Rebuilt To Move and Kevin Hirose from liability for any injury, loss or damage arising from your participation in the program, including injury that results from training beyond the loads, exercises or volume prescribed, from not following the program as coached, or from continuing to exercise despite pain or symptoms that should have stopped you. This release does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded by law. Before your first session you will be asked to complete a health questionnaire and sign an informed consent and waiver.
9. Cancellation, holds and refunds
- You are not locked in for the full four months. You may cancel before the end of the program by giving notice in writing (email is fine) before your next monthly billing date. An early cancellation fee of $150 (half of one month of program fees) applies, and no further monthly fees are charged after that.
- Fees for a month that has already started are not refunded, and sessions or calls not used in that month cannot be carried over unless we agree otherwise.
- If an injury, illness or other circumstance keeps you out of training for an extended period, ask us to put your program on hold. Holds are agreed in writing, pause your monthly billing, and your remaining program time resumes when you are back.
- An in-person session missed without at least 24 hours' notice counts as delivered. Weekly calls missed without notice are not rescheduled.
- We may end the program early, with a pro-rated refund of any prepaid fees, if it becomes unsafe to continue, if sessions are repeatedly missed without notice, or if you behave in an abusive way toward Kevin or the people around him.
10. Program materials
Your program, exercise videos, cues, tracking sheets and everything else we create for you are for your personal use only. You may not copy, share, sell or publish them, or use them to coach other people. The content, design and brand of the Site belong to Rebuilt To Move and may not be reused without permission.
11. Testimonials and results
Testimonials on the Site come from real clients and describe their own experience. Results depend on your starting point, your consistency and many other factors, and we make no promise that you will achieve any particular outcome. We will not publish your name, likeness or results without your permission.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of Alberta, Rebuilt To Move and Kevin Hirose are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the Site or the program, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Communications
By applying you agree that we may contact you by email, phone or text message about your application and your program. Marketing emails are separate: we only send them with your consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
14. Using the Site
Use the Site lawfully. Do not try to access parts of it you are not authorized to access, interfere with how it works, or copy its content in bulk. We may change or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. Links to other websites are provided for convenience only, and we are not responsible for their content.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change materially affects a program that is already under way, we will tell you by email, and continuing with the program means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If we have a disagreement, we will first try to resolve it directly and in good faith; failing that, the courts of Alberta have exclusive jurisdiction.
